What is a Capillary Pressure Apparatus?

A capillary pressure apparatus is a laboratory instrument used to measure capillary pressure, which is the pressure difference across the interface between two immiscible fluids in a porous medium, such as water and air or oil and water. Capillary pressure plays a significant role in various natural and engineered processes, including oil recovery, soil moisture retention, and fluid flow in porous materials.
